View Vol. 4 No. E1 (2023): Multidisciplinary Scientific Research Approach

The multidisciplinary scientific research approach is based on the integration of different academic disciplines and methodological approaches to address a research problem or question. Rather than being limited to a single field of study, multidisciplinary research seeks to combine the knowledge and skills of several disciplines to gain a more complete and holistic understanding of a phenomenon or to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

The multidisciplinary approach recognizes that many real-world problems are inherently complex and require a broader perspective to be fully understood. By combining disciplines such as biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, sociology, economics, computer science and many others, researchers can leverage the strengths of each field and gain a more complete and detailed view of the problem.

By adopting a multidisciplinary approach, researchers can benefit from a greater diversity of ideas, methods and approaches. This can lead to more innovative results and a better understanding of complex problems that could not be addressed from a single disciplinary perspective.
