LMS platform in the teaching and learning process aimed at the computer subject

The present research aims to propose an LMS platform as a didactic resource in the teaching and learning of the computer subject corresponding to the 3rd Year of Baccalaureate in the Malimpia Millennium Standardized Educational Unit. The research methodology was based on a mixed approach, since the data obtained from the survey were analyzed and the verbal interpretation of the interview was carried out. The research design is non-experimental because the proposal could not be implemented due to the current situation our country is going through due to the arrival of COVID-19, which has been the main limitation for the proper development of the research. Likewise, a descriptive and explanatory type of research was used to detail the different relevant factors of the problem. After carrying out the process of situational diagnosis to the students and teacher of the subject who represent the study population, the hypothesis raised could be validated, stating that the LMS platforms allow innovating the process of receiving school assignments and wielding it as a repository of documents of support, the same ones that will allow to make the most of the space-time with feedback in the formative process of the students, providing competitive and dynamic teaching results.
