Educational padlet as a digital tool aimed at the subject of natural sciences

Abstract

The general objective of this work was to strengthen the teaching and learning process on the contents "Living beings" in the Natural Sciences subject by applying an educational Padlet for students in the eighth year "A" of the Fiscal Education Unit "Alfredo Pareja Diezcanseco". The methodology used was based on a quantitative approach, the type of research being explanatory or causal, with a quasi-experimental design. The sample is non-probabilistic for convenience, it was made up of 30 students. The data collection instrument was the student evaluation and a data analysis based on the techniques of descriptive statistics was used. It was obtained as a general result that after the application of the educational Padlet there was a significant improvement in the academic performance of the students in the Natural Sciences subject, due to the fact that the average grades of the students went from 5.93 to 7.05 out of 10.00, from according to (MINEDUC, 2016).
