Abstract

The present degree work had the general objective of improving knowledge about the contents of the environment of living beings in the area of ​​Natural Sciences through the development of a didactic blog for students of the 8th year of the Higher Basic of the Educational Unit "Jhon F. Kennedy". The methodology used for the study was based on a quantitative approach, the type of research being explanatory, with a quasi-experimental design due to the fact that a pre-test, an intervention proposal and a post-test were carried out. The sample consisted of 22 students. The data collection instrument was the questionnaire, which served in the diagnostic evaluation and summative evaluation. A data analysis based on the techniques of descriptive statistics was presented. As a final result, it was obtained that the intervention proposal, in this case the didactic blog contributed with 30% to the development of knowledge in the contents of the environment of living beings in the area of ​​Natural Sciences, because the average of qualifications passed from 5:00 to 8:00 according to the MINEDUC (2016) rating scale.
