Abstract

Advances in research have allowed the development of new technologies such as nanotechnology, which is currently applied in various occupational fields that require precision millimeter, such is the case of medicine, robotics, among others, due to the required accuracy in the execution of certain activities inherent to each profession. The purpose of this work was to demonstrate the benefits of implementing graphene nanotechnology in contact lenses for eye care. It was supported by documents academics and scientists on the nanotechnology of graphene, making a documentary analysis in comparison with normal contact lenses, where it was found that with the use of this one can have better quality contact lenses because they do not affect sight. Therefore, graphene is a cutting-edge technology that is being implemented in various fields.
