Abstract:
The new post-confinement educational reality brings with it a series of factors whose analysis
is necessary to adapt the teaching and learning process; therefore, the purpose of this article is
to determine the influence of the return of face-to-face education on teaching and learning at
the Unidad Educativa Particular Antonio Neumane. The research is conformed by a
methodological construct based on the positivist-interpretative paradigm, non-experimental
design of descriptive-exploratory scope. As a sample, 20 teachers and 120 students were
selected through non-probabilistic sampling. As data collection techniques, focus groups and
surveys were applied to both students and teachers with the purpose of identifying the influence
of face-to-face teaching and learning and comparing it with virtuality, respectively. The results
were resounding in that the influence of presence has been positive for both students and
teachers and comparatively of better quality than virtuality, since the teaching and learning
process has become more dynamic, effective, understandable, developmental, interactive,
relational, fluid, honest and serious, in addition, certain study habits have been retaken and the
level of demand has increased, for which students feel more motivated and more confident,
However, it cannot be ignored that it is a complex process of adaptation and constant work of
the entire educational community, therefore, it is concluded that, despite the advantages of face-
to-face education, it must be retaken in a progressive, humanistic, individualized and flexible
way, otherwise, it will hinder the full development of the student.
Key words: Presentiality; Progressive educational return, Teaching and learning, Educational
improvement.
